This is where Lightroom comes in. Lightroom is a photo-enhancing software where you could maximize the potential of your photographs away from its conventional presentation. And this is done through Lightroom presets, a tool for which photo enhancement is made possible.
But the question is, how do you get Lightroom presets for free? Yes, there are free Lightroom presents available online.
The trick is simple. Presets are available online. And if you have downloaded some presets already, you can install them into Lightroom, and you use them any time.
As a start, you need to scour for some presets to use. It is advisable perhaps that you begin with Adobe Exchange and locate Lightroom presets.
After which, download a set of presets into your computer. In most cases, the downloading takes a little while, and that you need to file it in your computer, then unzip its content. Be sure to file these unzipped files in a folder.
Then you can proceed with launching Lightroom by clicking it and open the Develop module. Click the User Presets, and if possible, create a new folder for these presets through New Folder along with a name.
Immediately after creating that new folder, right-click and select Import. Locate those preset files you downloaded, select them and click Import. Only then your new presets will be added in your Lightroom preset collection.
Once you have created the new folder, right-click it and click Import. Navigate to where you have saved the preset files you downloaded, select them and click Import. The commands vary depending if you’re using through Windows or Mac.

You can also rename the folder you created, and share these presets to others. Keep in mind that there a lot of available presets in the web. It is only when they are attached to Lightroom that these pictures get their necessary enhancement.
